Manchu calls the Mongolian yurt for herdsmen’s residence in Mongol nationality. In Manchu language, home or house is called as “Bo”. For similarity, it is called as the “Mongolian yurt”. Mongolian people call their dwelling as “Geer”. The Han nationality calls Mongolian yurt as “Qionglu” or “yurt”, etc. 

The Mongolian yurt has the simple structure. It is easy to disassemble and carry easily, thus it is extremely suitable for nomadic life of the Mongolian nationality. Though Mongolian yurt has the small size, the using area in the yurt is extremely large. With ventilation, good lighting conditions, warm in winter and cool in summer, expose to wind and rain, it is extremely suitable for nomadic herdsmen to live and use. Mongolian people in Liaoning now live in the half timber houses similar to the Han nationality or Manchu, but indoor decoration has the obvious national features. The Mongolian yurt is an open residence with the round steepletop. Generally speaking, wool felt is used to cover. The Mongolian yurt has the small resistance in heavy snow and has no snows or no water on the top roof as raining. The gate is long but small connecting to the ground. The cold air is not easy to be invaded. Hana of the yurt is connected by using the fined crabsticks and hide ropes with the same size. As using process, they are pulled to form the round Mongolian yurt wall. As removal, it can be folded or can be used for the sweeping board of the Leleche. The top of the yurt has a mouth, which is the skylight for cigarette, ventilation and lighting.

Opening hours: 7:30—17:30(open in the whole year)

The ticket price is 140 yuan/person(including transportation in the scenic spot). People more than 65 years(including 65 years old), the disabled, students and soldiers can purchase privilege tickets in the ticket office by holding valid documentation.
